Barabati gears up for its 15th ODI

Following arrangements were made for the Nov 26, 2008 ODI between India and England at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. * 65 rooms were booked at Hotel Mayfair Lagoon in Bhubaneswar for accommodation of both the teams and officials. * 50 per cent work of a Rs 56 crore renovation plan was completed by the time of the ODI to give Barabati a facelift. * Two state-of-the-art players` dressing rooms, a new pavillion, a corporate stand, OCA administrative building, a media conference hall and a part of the new press box was used for the Nov 26, 2008 ODI. * With the addition of around 1,000 seats, the official capacity of the stadium reached 34,000. Out of a total of 22,850 tickets, 14,455 were reserved for the public, while the rest were booked for BCCI sponsors, members and affiliated units. * Dinomination of tickes included Rs 200 (players` concession), Rs 400 to Rs 500 (galleries), Rs 1,500 (special enclosure), Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 (pavillion). * Tickets for the public were sold by UCO Bank, Cuttack on Novermber 23 at the rate of a maximum of two tickets per buyer. * OCA distributed a total of 8,340 complimentary passes for the Nov 26, 2008 ODI. * The match was insured with Oriental Insurance Company for Rs 5 crore, including Rs 1 crore for the public. * 25 seats in the corporate box were sold to IMFA for 10 ODIs at a cost of Rs 20 lakh.
